Wellhead Sensors
From TheSmartField.com
The sensors that you usually find at wellheads are:
- Pressure
- Temperature
- Erosion
- Flow Rate
- Choke Position
- Valve status
These sensors are connected to an electronic controller at the wellsite, if it is a land or dry-tree installation; to a POD, if it is a subsea installation; or wires, if it is a Direct Umbilical installation.
The most common sensors in wellheads are the Pressure and Temperature sensors.
